Dark ruby red in color. Very perfumed nose shows aromatic Asian spices, dark berry preserves, violets. A medium bodied and silky palate shows candied dark red berries, florals, cola, good acidity and a long finish. Nice.

Medium dark red color. PNP, drank 2 glasses over 90 minutes. Very high tones dried spices on the nose, with underbrush, dried flowers, raspberries, red currants, and tobacco. The palate is medium plus bodied, layered fruits more to red but with darker notes there too; raspberry, black raspberry, tobacco and underbrush come through with fairly sleek, medium tannins. This should get better yet. 92+pts.

Cool vineyard site, warm year. I was somewhat surprised at the level of concentration and power of this pinot, reflecting the vintage I assume. But this was a very beautiful pinot, with great balance and a punch of cherry, raspberry, spices together with nice earthy notes, good acidity and slight tannins. This should last quite a while, but drinking very well now (A-/A).

Lots of berry fruit, including cherries, raspberries and blueberries. It is very smooth and the fruit has a velvety feel on the palate. It has some earthiness and spice to the finish.

At first I feared it was tired but really opened up after 30 minutes. Mushroom and charcoally nose, cherry, red apple, pomegranate, blackberry. It's unctuous, persistent, yet still delicate. Wish I waited, but drinking beautifully now.

Wow, this is drinking so well right now. Lots of berry fruit, including cherries, raspberries and blueberries. It is very smooth and the fruit has a velvety feel on the palate. It has some earthiness and spice to the finish. This is why I love Oregon Pinot Noir so much, especially for the price when compared to Burgundy.

Much better on day 2 as it really opened up. Wide open and ready for business. Nice cherry fruits in perfect balance with the acidity. The finish goes on and on. Some nice cedar/wood notes on the mid palate.

This is a delicious Oregon Pinot Noir. It is drinking perfectly right now, but it certainly will hold for 3 to 5 more years. It has very nice red fruits, some minerality, verve, some tannins too, and a medium finish.

Floral, full of verve and energy. Light to medium bodied, with laser precision and red fruit notes and some minerality. Delicious, this wine keeps you coming back for more and more.

Tight right after the cork pull, but opened up nicely as the evening progressed. This Pinot demonstrates what the Willamette Valley is capable of producing.

Best right out of the bottle, after which it tightened up a little. On day 2 it was shot. Recommend 2 year hold but OK to drink now with food, solid middleweight with fruit but not too sweet or stemmy.

Seductive. Red fruit and raspberry coulis notes with a spicy finish from the oak. Very easy to drink, in a good spot right now. My favorite St. Innocent bottle so far. Glad I have one more.

Nice Oregon Pinot, sill on the primary side with a lot of red berries on the nose and the palate. Not very complex for now, this should develop into something great in about 5 years...I was a bit impatient.

Dark ruby and starting to fade on the edges. Nose and palate of dark baked cherry, anise, and some earth. Good intensity of fruit. Enough new oak to provide some good seasoning, but not a bit overdone. Silky mouthfeel. Good finish with medium + acid. Well balanced wine. Delicious with grilled pork chops. This one hits right down the middle btwn new world and old world style for me, and well made overall. I think this has several more years in it to keep getting better

Bright ruby in color, this wine reveals cherry cola, raspberry and subtle spice on the nose. The mouth feel brings more red fruits with hints of cardamon. The finish though was reticent to open up and show the fruits, spices and acidity. 13.5% abv.
Purchased for $34US, this wine had decent aromatics and mouth feel but the finish was completely shutdown. It was so closed that I'm wondering if there is more to this when it ages. Not a typical 2012 vintage offering in my book.

Ruby color. Light and fresh nose of new cherry, fresh greenery and sweet pomegranate. Palate is also very fresh with a hint of tartness. More fresh cherry, some meat and fresh soil. Very light and thirst quenching. Enjoyable on its own.

We drank the 2005 St. Innocent Temperance Hill Pinot Noir on the same evening in order to compare it with the 2012. While the '05 has more nuanced layers and aromatics at this stage, but the 2012 shows considerable promise. Black raspberry and black cherry aromas lead into fragrant lavender, anise and crushed stones. On the palate, this fresh and lively Pinot boasts ample concentration and structure, with a slight buttery, toasty note on the backend, along with baking spice and dried herbs. This should evolve nicely with time and patience.

Deep dark, bright garnet in color. Forward, attractive & youthful nose of focused & intense rich, ripe fruit aromas of dark cherries, blueberries and raspberries with sweet spice overtones, floral accents of roses & violets, cherry-cola, forest floor, loam, earthy, stoniness, hints of sous-bois, minerals and a gentle hint of vanilla. Medium-full bodied with a very good concentration of dense yet well balanced, youthful & vibrant, rich, ripe fruit flavors of sweet dark cherries, blackberries and tart cranberries with cola, spices, earthy, minerals and a touch of vanilla. Long lingering finish. Drinks quite well with decanting and extended airing but will greatly benefit from additional aging.
