A beautiful bottle been looking forward to it, lemon /gold color. Notes of lemon curd brown butter hints of almonds on the palate fresh with plenty of acidity

My bottle shared with friends. Explosive aromatic noes with good mix of the oak and lemon, grapefruit, matchstick, honey and peaches. Palate was a little overblown to me. Yup LOTS of lovely acids kept things focused and not as blowsy as the aromatics but it just seemed too much... Lemon, slate, white flowers great acids but too much oak for my preference.
Yes this was a head turner but I enjoyed these more 2 years ago where I felt the oak influences were less apparent.
Still a heck of a wine.

WTDS at Tilia (Tilia, Mpls): Light gold color. Drank a glass over 2 hours. The nose shows plenty of wood spices up front, stone, lemon, lemon blossom, and white grapefruit. The palate shines with toasted oak barrels, lemon, a touch of lemon oil, full bodied yet very crisp, dried apples, some earth, grapfruit, and later a richer tart Tatin note on the back end. Lovely. 93+ to 94pts.

Courtesy of sparty. Lemon and mineral, honeysuckle and other floral notes. Wonderful lemony fruit on the palate with mineral and granite elements. Long finish. A terrific showing. Quite young and should improve a bit at it reaches maturity. 93+ pts.

Brought 2 bottles to a friends house which celebrated 25 years of The French Laundry. Dave and Desi completely outdid themselves, all we had to do was bring some wines.
PnP, served well chilled. On the nose white flowers, peach, lemon, and crushed rocks. Palate was citrus, lemon, with many layers of slate, spices, honey and lime. Pleasantly surprised by the long zippy finish--acids abound. Oak added layers but was not overdone. One more in the cellar and if I ever saw this again, I'd be a buyer.
Strong recommendation.

Same btl as R&Rler. This exceeded expectations by a good measure. I find Jadots inconsistent across the several btls I've had. Often they can be over-oaked, dense and lacking finesse but every now and again a blt will surprise you. Loved the huge, pervasive stony, briny, floral aromas this emitted along with the companion mineral / citrus concentration and intensity on the palate. This btl, would give almost any Meursault a run for its money. If only Jadot could be relied upon for more wines of this class and terroir expression!

Chez Dalluge Celebrates The 25th Anniversary of The French Laundry (Chez Dalluge, MN): Light medium gold color. Drank a glass over 45 minutes. This was quite impressive. I loved the nose and palate with toasted barrels, full bodied and round with structure and intensity, layered and oily in texture, citrus and apple confit, slate, long. Outstanding 93+pts or better.

Blinds (Chicago, IL): Served double blind. I joked here that the nose actually smelled a little like Coche thanks to that popcorn character. Indeed, it's a very reduced wine. The palate is quite fat and rich, and I thought that this was a 2015 vintage, with 2012 being my second guess. I did guess Cote de Beaune, but that was pretty much as far as I went.
