Thanksgiving: This was universally #3 out of three sparklers tasted side-by-side (#1 was a Thienot Champagne, #2 was a 2007 Schramsberg Reserve).
Same as my notes from almost a year ago, except that I did bump this up a point because a nice strawberry cream flavor emerged briefly mid-palate that helped to smooth out some of the other more bitter citrus notes.
Still finished a bit too dry for my preference. I was a ultimately bored with this sparkler, and just kept going back to the other two. 89-90 generous points from me.

Not a complex sparker, but a very pleasant and well balanced wine full of grapefruit rhind and acidity. Vibrant, full, and clean. Drinking quite youthful and nice.

A fun wine, pairing nicely with some rich, cheesy appetizers. Notes of blood orange, cranberry-apple crisp, dried apricot, flint, and talc. The finish was exceptionally dry and a little distracting, clamping down on the taste buds and kicking away the initial wave of fruit flavors.
One of those wines that you would serve to the bachelorette party bus that pulls up to your winery, but certainly not something that screams cerebral Jeopardy to anyone who takes the time to pay attention to what's hitting his or her palate.
But hey, we all need wines like this. A perfect type of wine to toast in the New Year if you are standing next to a quasi-cute bridesmaid who uses the word "like" too much in every sentence, or incessantly spits out the phrase, "I know, right?!" every time you say something not-profound to her.

Very nice rosé champaign. Peaches and apricots and goodness. Tasted refreshing and bright. Everybody really enjoyed this wine. It was the first bottle of a long Christmas wine dinner. Many great Napa reds followed, and this champaign was quite memorable to everyone by the end of the evening, and also the following morning. I have one more in the cellar, but intend to purchase more. Quite enjoyed.
