Natural wine. Ruby, unclear. Stinky and yeasty profile. Fresh red fruits, floral with high acidity and low tannins. Herbal with hints of wood and sweet spices. Lovely.

We tasted this on a vacation in France. In the past I had mostly been disappointed with natural wines but this was a revelation. I didn't know what to think after my first sip but as I continued drinking I realized how delicious it is: funky, lively, fantastic.

This was very tasty; definitely a natural wine with a wild side to it, but also well made and quite tasty; the nose has explosive red berry fruits, a little bit of funk, but pleasant funk like game and iron, some hints of spring floral notes as well; the palate is very energetic and vibrant, lots of berry fruits coming through from the gamay, but the acidity seems driven by the trousseau, the balance in the end is quite good though towards the tangy side. Very good with food, I paired this with a chicken dish with a rich sauce and it was excellent as the acidity was great to lift the richness of the dish.

From memory. I loved this wine. A great poulsard freshness, natural wine funk, with delicious fruit from the Gamay. More heft to it than a poulsard would normally be, but still zippy and refreshing. What a great summer red.

Oh my god, this is such a wild untamed animal! A blend of Gamay & Poulsard, made by the great Jean François Ganevat.
NV on the label, but the astute vintner put 2015 on the cork.
Fizzy and re-fermenting first, but it smoothes in a bit. Charming and sexy aromas of barnyard, typical for the region - followed by red berries, hawthorn and dog-rose.
I’m loving it.

Lovely stuff! Very much vin nature, translucent red, but there’s a lot of fruit and structure. Nice tart finish that goes on for a long while. Wild strawberries, chilled raspberries, cherries. Very fresh and tangy.

Nice nose, leather, fresh redberries, roots, wet ground. Mouth is reducted, fresh, starting with redberries juice, structured with very fine tannnins then ending on green vegetal notes. Définitive an organic style. A blend of Mondeuse, Syrrah, Trousseau. Ganevat is a genius, even with negoce grapes.

Nice fresh nose of fruits, leather, little barnyard, smoke and black pepper. Presumed young syrrah. but the hue is quite clear. Mouth is a pure sweat juice, fresh and balanced. Almost fizzy, rasberry and cranberries juice. Very few tannins. No exhuberance. Just finesse and simplicity. Excellent. For every tasters. Twenty euros here in France.

Funk, bright red fruit, sour beer and sauerkraut. Well balanced on the palate with a light body and juicy fruit. Lacks a bit of length, but a very charming and easy drinking wine!

Fun, quaffable, easy drinking red.
I'm generally not a fan of Ganevat's reds, but this one was enjoyable to drink. The bottle disappeared quickly.....
