My second tasting of this NV French sparkling wine for CellarTracker -- the first was 11/22/2010; resounding pop of the cork; nice mellow flavor, ripe red delicious apples, well-balanced components; pair with cheeses, nuts; I see no reason to change my original 2010 rating of 90

Pale yellow with a pink hue in the glass. Good bubbles with notes of lemon, lime and a touch of mineral and subdued red fruits. Though it was a touch sweet at first but seemed to even out in the end. Cousin Pudge really enjoyed this Crémant.

Bright rose gold with moderately quickly dissipating mousse and fine bubbles (meaning it’s properly chilled ). Royal Anne cherries on the nose, confirmed on the medium full palate with toasted brioche. Bright, mouthwatering acidity reigns in the mouth, and the finish is long and bready. A Burgundian blanc de noirs that I’d put up against similar Champagnes any day, but without the Champagne price. Equally at home in a celebratory toast or accompanying an oceanic meal. I’m enjoying with grilled salmon. What will *you* choose?

I like this bubbly but this particular bottle was not as good as others I have had. This has been my "go to" bubbly for medium drinking... a friend's birthday where more than one bottle is required, a toast for a neighbor's successes, etc. It has a slightly pink or rose tone to the color, a clean dry taste and finish, and enough acidity to stand up to food. I think it is good with everything from seafood to pizza... but I admit to loving bubbly with food - not just as a celebration drink.

Aroma/taste components: Peach, a little melon, butter. Rounded nose, more edgy/mineral style on the palate. If I were to score them separately I would score the nose at 88 and the taste at around 82...

Cappuccino aroma. Delicate notes of pear and creme from the cappuccino on the palate. Lively acidity and a rather long finish with flavors reminiscent of graham crackers. Very well balanced. Lovely sparkling and great value alternative to champagne.

tasted at Total Wines' 'Sparkling and Champagne' wine class in Palm Beach Gardens, FL (Total's discounted price was $12.99); made from 90% Pinot Noir grapes; gold colored, good bouquet; tasting revealed an intense, fruit-forward citrus cast with a moderately intense fruit character: apple, citrus; very good balance, moderately long finish; recommended

okay. I prefer the blanc de blanc. Some raspberry on the nose, citrus. Rather simple and aromatically challenged on the nose. weak bubbles. not bad for 12 bucks, kicks the crap out of korbel! i would just buy the blanc de blanc next time.

Nose is floral but quite weak. Palate is good with fruits and a long finish. The bubbles are quote strong and actually a bit distracting. Maybe sparkling wines aren't for me.

A very rich, golden color, more onion-skin than anything else with a nose of raspberries and lightly toasted bread. In the mouth, the first flavor to hit is pear and apple, which is backed up by strawberry and raspberry.

Brian’s: Bradford’s Baptism party: I was the only one to drink it. Good basic french sparkler. Not inense nose, etc., but well-built, good light yeast, minerals.

Light onion peel color with small, refined bubbles gives way to a delicate berry nose. On the pallet, berries and citrus. A great value sparkling.

Decent texture, good dryness and not too sweet. Nothing spectacular and thin in the end, but for under $15, a decent value.
