Straw colour with a muted stone fruit nose. The palate is waxy with lemon and apricot, spicy and honeyed finished. This is wonderful, complex wine for a bargain price. Always worth holding these for five years or more before tucking in.

Enjoyed this with a curry. Very smooth with a palate dominated by honeysuckle. I don't have experience with this varietal but feels like it is starting to peak?

Fragrant, toasty, touch of almonds, honeysuckle, beautiful texture. The wine has certainly developed positively over the past three years. Very close to outstanding, in a gentle, well balanced, low alcohol 12.5%)this is ageing beautifully, and will continue to develop for at least another 5 years.

A personal favourite over the years so I really hope this is suffering from delayed development as hasn't moved since my '18 note. Either closed tight or (hopefully not) lightweight. Will hold my remaining bottles till 2025 and keep my fingers firmly crossed.
Oh my. Blind. Ik dacht Riesling vanwege de petrol of vulkaan in het glas. Maar toch. Primair fruit is er ook nogal en de zuren strak maar niet hoog. Marsanne blijkbaar. Wat een toffe wijn is dit zeg. Abrikoos, iets rokerig, complex. Spannend glas. Kan best een vette vis aan ook. Sexy.

Herbaceous and citrus nose. Velvet/lanolin texture - this wine's mouthfeel has certainly smoothed out over the past two years. Very dry finish. Still very youthful and structured. The win does slightly tail off in intensity in the back palate, but I do see scope for positive evolution over the next decade. Not at all in the style of a French Marsanne, rather more similar to a hybrid of Riesling texture and Chenin herbaceousness - I do not detect white floral notes at the current time. This is a wine of interest, with plenty of character.

Cracked and poured straight outa the fridge. Looked bottle aged, moderate yellow and tasted gone. Gave it a few minutes and I reckon the colour became paler! Never noticed this before and not sure if it's a thing, but with this transformation the taste opened up immeasurably too. It has great balance and a good robust full acidity. No distinct flavours, I guess like an riesling/unwooded chardy as mentioned below, but nonetheless really enjoying it.

Not my cup of tea. Technically nothing wrong with it. But I won’t be getting it again. Almost like a blend of Reisling and early picked Chardonnay with no oak

I can't see what all the fuss is about. This just tastes like cheap sour white wine to me. I don't think there's anything wrong with it, it just isn't very nice. Sorry.
Gross infanticide ergo no mark. This is undoubtedly a 90+?+ potential wine but is almost completely closed for business. HOLD for at least 6 years from vintage.

At this point in time it is fairly acidic and dry, quite a bit of lemon on the palate. Eagerly awaiting the honeysuckle. Still well balanced just the palate isn't as expressive when it was a young'n.

Had skipped a few vintages of this wine, and either this is a notch below the previous vintages or my taste changed. Not gluey as Marsanne can be, and I like the higher acid than I recall in past vintages, but the flavor was fairly one dimensional. There was also a hint of RS, I thought, and the lack of a beeswaxy texture, combined with a little bitterness I've like in past vintages. This isn't expensive, so no big regret, but it'll probably be a few more vintages before I venture back into this wine.

I invariably enjoy young Tahbilk Marsanne. My first reaction to this one was "oooh I like this even more than the usual". Floral. Peach, not quite ripe banana, honeysuckle, lemon, grassiness. Rich. Viscous. Ample length and more than ample balance. 91 but I'm sorely tempted to go 92.

Very impressive wine, whose main current strength is textural appeal. Hints of a lanolin texture abut a bright core of acid, creating a nice sense of palate tension. Light peach aromas and flavours, with a hint of florals, which will certainly become more pronounced over time. This wine should develop very well over the next decade, and should become outstanding. 89+

{screwcap, 12.5%} Grassy and bright, with typical Tahbilk lanolin-like Marsanne characters. There's just of greasiness about the texture, despite the medium acidity which does make an impression. Light/medium-body, but with plenty of flavour. Medium length finish. Needs 5 years at least.

Simply delectable. Beautiful tropical fruits can't quite taste the citrus. This is wine that you simply must include in your cellar. I understand that it will improve dramatically with age.
