Unbelievable intensity, but showing more elegance and complexity than in the first years. Still unbelievable fresh and exuberant, Much better than the 2005 Muskateller Spätlese, which begins to fade.

Fan-fricking-tastic! Ripe melon nose that just explodes from the glass. And then a dry, mineral and citrus EXPLOSION in the mouth. This is insanely refreshing. I was worried about how this would age, but it hasn't budged much in nearly two years.

pale, straw yellow. Intense, even for some people blatant Nose of black currants, citrus fruits and minerals. Good acidity und lenght. Ideal wine with food even for intensively flavoured hot asian dishes. Will hold and develope for some more years. -2011

This was exactly as I remember it from August. An intense, unique nose of melon followed by a nearly salty palate. Shockingly tasty.

Seattle Tasting Group does California Cabernet (Sammamish, WA): What an AMAZING nose of melon with some talc. The palate is bracingly clean and almost shockingly dry and in contrast to the nose. What a fabulous summer sipper!
