Blind at Anita: Gold-orange with copper and amber highlights; hugely aromatic with orange peel, dried apricot, clove, petrol, exotic spices; mouth is oily, rich, apricot pie with excellent lift, clean from start to finish, and very long in the mouth. Amazing sticky if you ask me.

Light gold with some orange. Toffee and apricot, creme brulee. Heavy and syrupy with enough acidity but little in the way of aromatic lift. No botrytis. Very sweet and dull.

Orange amber color (like the beer); burnt apricot pie crust, creme brulee, yellow plum, honey, very rich, with a touch of petrol-botrytis; rich, heavy, very sweet but pure and fine at the same time; good acidity with a super creamy mouthfeel; excellent medium long finish. This is heavier than a sauterne, and pretty packed with flavor and character. So much so it doesn't really need a dessert to accompany. Age is hardly a factor. Let is sit for another 10 years in you like.

Excellent bottle. Reminded me of a Sauternes (same grapes), but there were some additional flavors that I have not caught in any Sauternes. Rich (but cloying), with (As noted by others) enough acid to pull it all off. Just a joy to drink.

Mom and Dad’s: Roasted nuts, honey, a bit heavy, but delicious and classy; carmelized apricot; golden honey; well made, decadent, grt age on this w/no probs despite white crytalization floating around.

Slightly cloudy amber. Not too aggressively botrytized, but there's a nagging woodiness that detracts or distracts just a bit from the lemon/orange gummy bear and anise aromas. Lush and silky with lingering, caressing power, this strikes me as a wine with little to no potential upside.

Shoot-out at Aaron's (Denver, CO): I gave it an extra point just because it was so much fun -- we all marveled at the nose: a drag-strip, burnt rubber smell, with coffee grinds, molasses, herbs and toffee. On the palate the PERFECT amount of sweetness. Yes, it's thick, but the superb acid backbone washes it away to leave you with a 45 second finish. Showing perfectly right now, but with the stuffing to go another 5-10 years with no problem. Dynamite with the bleu cheese! 12.5% abv, approx $30 on release.

Excellent wine that complimented dessert very well. Spitting image of a young Sauternes. Light amber color with a nice nose of sweet peaches, white flowers, excellent complexity and length on the palate with a strong and slightly acidic finish. A steal at $25.

The color has turned deep, deep golden. Extremely thick and syrupy. The nose is honey and orange peel. On the palate, it shows tremendous honey and candied almonds. The almonds stay on your palate forever. It's also showing a very mature flavor, almost sherry-like. Also detected some chlorine notes. Overall, very rich. Hard to drink more than a glass of this. Very unique.

$22 full retail upon release (500 ml). No formal note. Color has certainly darkened over the last few years. Obviously, very Sauternes-like. Apricots, honey, but not all primary as in its youth - it's showing some nice mature elements now. Clearly a solid value at $22.

I thought showing decent given the age. Marzipan and dried apricots mostly, but with some maple in the finish.

Another great bottle. Similar to, but clearly distinct from, most Sauternes I have had. A little extra spice (or some type of additional flavors).
If I see another of these for something less than a fortune, I will buy it.
Very impressive.

Beautiful amber color and smooth. The tases were like a tea with a heavy dose of very floral honey. Very rich and worked with the cheese course.
