The best of the three bottles, though I only had one glass on PnP. Very little yeasty character, nice pure, if rustic, fruit, food friendly. I was happy with this. Solid bottle / Very Good.

Similar to Nov. 2019 bottle, but the yeasty / lactic notes were more subdued but it still retains a raw quality. This is a natural effort with a flaw. Otherwise, bright cranberry fruit with some damp earth and even some floral notes. Good, but this was not good QPR in the upper-teens USD. Label abv 11-14%

Good, but I kept getting yeasty notes throughout the entire bottle, which was a flaw. I hope the other bottle doesn't show this.
The bottle was held in good conditions for the past couple years since purchase. No light and temperatures ranging from the mid-50s to mid-60s seasonally.

Medium bodied, rustic with hints at modernity. Aligns with my previous write-up and is superior today. Excellent, wish I had purchased more as it appears to no longer be imported.
Needs a fair amount of air to shed some of the slightly carbonic acidity on first opening, but when it calms down there is really nice dark raspberry fruit, a strawberry overtone, and a fabulous brambly character. Acidity it obviously there, along with some fine but slightly grippy tannins. Very nice, and should last for quite a few years.

By the glass. Apparently son-in-law of Georges Descombes. Fifty year old vines that produce an intense wine with an almost sweet camphor note clearly from the wood. It does not convincing me those so much concentration and opulence. Speaking of "natural wines" in this specific case seems too much to me.

A bit of spritz to start, which fades quickly; plum/berry with some earth; seems primary and flabby--possibly better with time but too many other wines to try...

Deep ruby. From the start, strong evidence of funk, and probably Brett. We like a hint of both, but found this one excessive. Is this a natural wine? -- it sure tasted so -- quite a bit of wildness. The initial attributes accentuated over the next two days. That said, I rather liked it, but my wife quit after the first day.
A Cru Beaujolais that could easily be passed for a Burgundy. Smoky leathery sultry nose with a deep red and dark fruit palate. Soft spoken. Complex. Gorgeous long finish. This is excellent wine, and an excellent value at $25USD. Even at $35.
The first hour of drinking was its best -- totally fresh and appealing. The last couple hours the profile darkened and ripened continuously and lost the balance to support itself. It evolved into something backwards.
Day 2 it was kind of nutty and flat, not for me but not innately bad. It's hard to know how long it will cellar, but it's excellent in its youth. Perhaps the "backwardness" I experienced will resolve itself in a few years. Recommended

Bien dans le genre beaujolais facile, tendance nature, sur le fruit et la buvabilité. Les tanins sont hyper fluides, çà glisse tout seul, rien n'accroche. Je ne vois pas l'intérêt de faire vieillir ce genre de vin.

Solid Morgon! Very funky in style...barnyard aromas, a bit of VA...but it makes the wine even more interesting. Definitely not your boring generic Morgon...didn't know this producer, but he's quite something. I also bought the Chiroubles...$35 at the SAQ and worth it!

I can handle Brett and I like natural, but in the future I will stay away from this producer, it's beyond my threshold....

Highly acidic, light in body with a tail end note of Brett. Still, quite appealing and a good foil for seared duck breast.

this has so much brett, it's halfway to being a lambic. Even more than the Chiroubles I had. had to dump it.

Pas de notes formelles, beau fruit, côté rustique plaisant, mais pour un peu plus cher, je préfère la cuvée de Foillard

Lots of natural wine elements. More rustic than I'm used to with Morgon. After 30 minutes of air it paired wonderfully with a burger.

Cherry, cinnamon, granite. This is vibrant and fresh - and a great QPR!
