Tasted next to 16 and 17. This was my favorite. Great nose that was noticeably more oxidative than the other two wines but also more complex. Strawberry, almonds, citrus, and fresh fruit emerge with air. Great acidity on the palate with lots of citrus notes, orange pith, lemon, and grapefruit. Long finish. This was outstanding and very deep and complex. I think I liked this a bit more than others, though.

The Arbour with Your Highness: LC15. Popped it for Joe and Bryan who hadn't had it, but heard too many stories. Absolutely gorgeous nose, but it took some time for the palate to get going (similar to my experience a year ago). Always love how vinous and dense it is on the palate. It had more zesty citrus than prior bottles, but no complaints here.

Strawberry and cherry on the nose but it’s shy at first. Med acid up front but soft, rolls into more strawberry+cherry with a nice creamy mouthfeel, finessed down to a super-mineral finish. Insane length, it just keep rollicking along for what feels like ages.

Lovely rich strawberry and rhubarb nose, some secondary development, mildly oxidative. Quite rich palate, round and fruity, this is ready to drink and delicious. Very individual and interesting champagne.

PNP into Zalto Bordeaux glass (“Flower” day): Bright copper to the eyes.
Beguiling aromas of bright red cherry fruits, dried florals and mushroom / sous bois notes.
Very strong streak of minerality (almost saline) and acidity on the palate. Burdock like woody plant notes that makes this very complex, and with high levels of integration, and a very long finish. A complete wine.
Beautifully crafted Champagne here. This will certainly age for a very long time. What’s amazing is how drinkable and enjoyable. 95 points easy.

LC15, the Facsimile GOAT. Served it in a wider glass (Zalto Bordeaux) after giving the bottle about an hour of air. This is as good as it gets. Plush, bright, creamy, and balanced. Wish I could just chug a whole bottle to myself. Shit, maybe I will!

Bang Bang: Poured this blind for Ryan @golden8wines and Eric @harmacist and they both called it. Started broad, then the fruit tightened up, but after half an hour, this became the most generous and graceful Champagne. Perfect balance, perfect acidity, and irresistible plush red fruit. Once again affirming that LC15s are the truth.

Lucky to try this again so soon. Strawberries, Raspberries, chalky minerality. Balanced, energetic, slight creaminess on the finish. Chug all day, love it.

Big Burg Energy: LC15. So lucky to have this again! Much creamier than I remember the last one from just a few months back. Besides that, similar impressions. So goddamn delicious.

First time trying this wine! Nose was strawberries, hint of lychee. Palate adds in earthy minerality, wet rocks. Balanced acidity with lifted energy. Creaminess with a plum note on the finish. Complex and lovely bottle.

03099/3154, LC15. Decanted to serve, easily the best Prevost, and one of the best Rose Champange I have had. Perfect balance, graceful acidity and beautifully toned, nothing out of place. All the sweetness and beer-like notes in harmony. Mouth-watering, seriously impressive bottle. On the palate it is big, broad, and bright. IMO, even better than Selosse Rose for its overall balance. 96

03144/3154, LC15. Superb clarity, smelling like Rosé but drinking like a pure Chardonnay. No notable oak, very clean fruit, amazing depth and balance, bright acidity, backward and subtle, going on forever. True delight. 93-94+

Out of town friends @ Republique; 7/31/2019-8/6/2019: What more needs to be said about this wine? There’s so much material inside. Savory earthy strawberry that completely envelopes your palate. There’s ample acidity and killer bone dry intensity. It has a ripeness to it and fills the mouth but without feeling sweet and heavy as so many rose do

Day 1: pnp. Nose not giving much just pure effervescence and a hint of red fruits. Palate was peaches and cream fine bubbles, Had a glass over an hour and not much change.
Day 2: immediately hit with a nose of bright red currants, chalk and a hint of funk. Not at all oxidative like other prevost ive had. Extremely elegant but still tight but that didn’t stop us from finishing the bottle that night.

Valentines with the SLDS - February 2018 Tasting: LC15. Strawberry, earthy, cherry/kirsch and with air a little herbal element. Sweet fruit but very good cut and detail from the acidity and fine bubbles. Lots of flavour and interest.

Bienvenue a Champagne; 4/20/2023-4/29/2023 (Les Crayeres, various restaurants, Les Avises and a many wonderful producers): I think now that we’ve gotten to have Prevost Rose maybe 3 times in a year which is a minor miracle since there’s so little of the wine. This was a fun find. We finished the meal with it so with the meat and also with dessert. A really excellent wine always. Very bright and fresh fruit style. Intense. Likes food a lot. Drinking well.
