  • La Paulée de Singapour 2023: Drinking well for 2015 White Burgundy. Lemon, crushed rock, white stone fruit. Refreshing acidity. Perfectly pleasant and enjoyable wine but lacked a bit of "wow" compared to other wines tried alongside that evening.

  • Lovely nose of honeysuckle, bee comb, cantalope melon, pear juice, and wet minerals, nose expanded over time in the glass, same on the palate, medium/big body, elegant, subtle, precise, on point, hints of many nuances to come, creamy texture, slightly viscous texture, hints of good acid, almost mouth filling fruit, hints of smoke on the mid palate, youth shows on both the nose and finish, better with 4 more years in the cellar and most certainly a higher rating, long, flavorful finish and lovely aftertaste. My Christmas gift for both of us. Also, my first Chevalier-Montrachet tasting note. Uploaded 2 photos.
