Decent wine with pineapple, green apple and pear on the nose. Bright acidity. Stone fruit and grassy notes on the palette with the apple and a medium finish. Used this to make Risotto to go along with a chicken cordon bleu dinner and paired nicely. Clean and crisp.

Not a good expression of Napa Sauvignon Blanc in my opinion, especially at this price point. Extremely acidic, and borderline carbonated! Subtle notes of stone fruit as one would expect, but I cannot get past the offensive mouth feel of tart and bubbly. I have given Rombauer a fair shot, tasting most of what they offer and I am unfortunately continuesly dissapointed. Save yourself some money and grab a Honig Sav Blanc which is a much more elegant expression of Sav Blanc from Napa for me.

Almost clear in color with a light body and sharp acidity. Bright, tart flavors of green apple, grapefruit and citrus along with some mineral. Only a hint of grassy-ness and none of the melon or pineapple mentioned by other tasters. I mostly tasted tartness rather than specific fruit flavors, but it was very refreshing and bright, and without any of the green flavors you sometimes find in SB. 89+

Light yellow color. Bursting with aromas of guava, pineapple, lime, lemongrass, honeysuckle. Plenty of texture on the palate, a plush feel but bright and crisp acidity. Lemon/lime on top of pineapple, guava, banana peel, with notes of lemongrass, nettle and honeycomb. Lots of flavor and fruit but solid complexity and this retains such a sense of freshness and vibrancy. Lovely stuff. 90% stainless steel, 10% old oak.

This was respectable juice, maybe the best CA I've had to date. The tart sweetness that accompanies many SB wines was very mild here. Paired well with fish and olive centered hors d'oeuvres

90% Stainless Steel and 10% Neutral French oak for three months. Highly aromatic with scents of passion fruit, peach, pineapple, ruby red grapefruit and citrus zest flowing out of the glass with lesser notes of white flowers, wet stone and lemongrass. Bright and vibrant on the juicy palate showing well integrated notes of ruby grapefruit, guava, peach, and lemongrass flavors that are precise and leads into the zesty finish that highlights fresh passion fruit and citrus zest.
