A New Year's Eve Gathering at our place: Decanted for 15 minutes, chilled. A slightly better experience than our previous bottle last month. Similar bright yellow color. Similar medium to plus bodied palate, but with the addition of some pear and a touch of white peach to the yellow apple, minerality and citrus. The acidity remains a bit less than needed to balance, but the oak influence seemed to slim down a bit. May continue to develop and should hold to the decade mark (and beyond?).

PnP (chilled) to a decanter to follow. A clear bright yellow color. As the wine warms and opens the oak notes become more prominent. Yellow apple, oak spice, citrus and a touch of minerality on the medium to plus palate. The acidity seems to be a bit less than needed to balance. May continue to develop and hold to the decade mark (and beyond?).

Discrete nose at first that opens up nicely with time, the palate is classy and fairly elegant, despite a backwards acidity, still delicious.

Popped by Mark F at the 50th. Absolutely stunning wine. Magnificent example of meursault. Pale, fresh, citrus, blossom and mineral. Great weight and length. Great wine.

Honey and peach on the nose. On palate, it is very rich, and lacking somewhat in acid and liveliness. Tastes somewhat alcoholic. Balance is there, but not too complex. Disappointing at this price. Not sure if bottle is representative. Will wait at least six months to open another.

Nuuk weekend; 12/13/2018-12/16/2018: White flowers, hay and stray of oak. Nutty and fat structure with perky acidity to back it up. Hints of butter in the finish.

92 poeng.

A mostly Cote de Beaune Red Burgundy Evening (Nobbi Müller Burgunder& Süßweine, Hamburg): One glass, brief note: this one is not for me, nose full of delicious flintstone, fullbodied, quite energetic, lacking elegance at the moment, I like great dry Rieslings much more, objektive a mineral tasty white Burgundy, but maybe only at this evaluation point a bit rustic and fat, *(**- ?)

Nice but not the most interesting wine I've tasted. Pretty harmless.

Last bottle - too bad. Great wine. Probably at peak but could go for 2-3 more years. Great length and very elegant without being to bold.

Onklers Grand Cru Tasting Spring 2018; 4/20/2018-4/22/2018 (Tord): Nose with fresh baked buns, butter and popcorn. Round and harmonious, with spices but less spicy than '12. Long. Dense and concentrated. With air, burned popcorn and rubbery notes appear.
