Mandarin, apricot, honey, lemon and other citrus fruit on the sweet nose. The sweet palate adds more of these as well as some canned mandarin and peach. Brisk stony acidity that balances the very sweet fruit. Long finish with a citric theme, tapering towards the acids. Sweet, balanced, hedonistic, but not quite as intense as an aszú would be. Stylistically nods towards the Sauternes style a bit, but still retains a clear Tokaji identity. Nice.

Tiger Mama. From 500ml. Showing no ill effects from its recent flight from Budapest. Quite sweet but neither heavy nor viscous. Very ripe peach/apricot. A little honey and some (not too much) bitterness on the finish. A medium-scaled treat.

The Papies 25th Anniversary - The Fat Duck (The Fat Duck, Bray): Served blind in black glasses at the Fat Duck, Bray. One of six served. A challenge/game by the sommelier! Very tropical, passion fruit notes. lovely ripeness on the palate and a lot lighter and fresher than its aszu cousins this was just delicious. Guessed tokaji after a small hint form the sommelier :) 92++

Noah's Kitchen. Quite sweet, appropriately. Very attractive palate though not as complex as I might have hoped. Certainly good.

2017 Villa d’Este Wine Symposium - Kelly and Kevin's excellent adventure; 11/9/2017-11/14/2017 (Villa D’este, Lake Como and Milan): Incredibly decadent nose displaying apricot preserve, canned peach, acacia and honey. Excellent concentration, decadent ripe yellow fruit driven palate impression, mouth puckering acidity and an incredibly long intense yellow fruit driven finish. A wonderful dessert wine, a great palate cleanser.
