Served with Thanksgiving dinner. Good mix of fruit and loam with the fruit leaning a little brighter (raspberry and cranberry) and finishes with a little baking spice.

loved this on release. all the right components here but just not in a great place right now for my palate. the fruit has faded and the earth shows more prominently, but the tannins have kind of emerged to the forefront and flatten it all out to much. will check back in a couple of years.

Superb. A wonderful taste of red fruit and blueberries with a pleasing earthy balance of herbs and stems. A nice subtle, creamy finish. Great now. Shows structure for aging further.

Pretty exceptional, from my experience, with Mercurey. Not necessarily "Big P" primary, but this is driven by a bright wild raspberry vibe. The fruit plays a little one note-ish, but the undercurrent of brambly notes, earthiness, spice and general herbal flavors give this a true complexity. This does a great job of balancing bright fruit with all the parts that draw you back to Burgundy. The structure of the wine is broadly "medium", but it's fresh, bright and has a surprising depth. Probably pushes the quality limits of the Cote Chalonaise a bit. Delicious.

Delicious on pop & pour. No mistaking that this is French and from Burgundy - a really solid , well made wine. Drinking very well now but no doubt it will hold up over time. Love it!

the nose shows hints of red berry and wet stones, bright and racy in the mouth, quite tight, crunchy red berries, mineral and pomegranate flavors on the palate, elegant and simple, dry with satiny textures that feel good to drink, nice with a light meal

simple but satisfying nose of cherry, plum, earth, and hints of vanilla and a difficult to define green funk. palate light and moderately acidic with tremendous balance and freshness. cherries, blackberries, soy, and black soil on the palate. light, fine tannins and a lengthy finish. killer juice.

Dense nose of both red and black fruits, dark cherry, plum etc. with a distinctly gamey nose of rose petal, whiff of oak spice and pepper. Good meatiness and length with firm tannins though not overtly drying. There is a nice inner harmony here that comes through that should make this age well and on balance. Lots of potential. More 1er Cru quality than anything else...

This was just fantastic. exactly what you want from a $40ish burgundy. Bright red fruits, freshness, mineral, just a hint of earth.

Rien de complexe mais c'est bon et accompagne très bien le boeuf bourguignon.

Highly perfumed red berry fruit is trimmed with floral spice. It is a fresh juicy wine, with ample flesh and a crunchy mineral finish.

Slightly more voluminous, strong black fruit and soil. Most complete of the red wines, excellent early complexity.
