Not bad for $11. Light and light bodied. Improved after about an hour in glass. Better second day. Not terribly interesting, but good table wine for mid-week.

Part of another flight at Vinotecca. $8 per glass. The appearance is ruby red and light. The nose is decent, with some fruit. But the taste is of smoke, almost charcoal, almost dirty, with some unpleasantness this time. There is medium dryness. Low good.

Cirò DOC. My first experience of the Gaglioppo varietal. Not bad, but underwhelming. Cost $8 per glass; part of a flight at Vinotecca. The tannins are prominent but there is some fruit too. Good (83.5).

THis wine is made of 100% Gaglioppo (a native Southern Italian grape), but it is done in a Pinot Noir style. It is medium to light bodied, dry and spicy. It had a hint of cherry and was a little acidicy but still good.

Not bad....Improved in the glass/over time....simple, sweet (almost candied) cherry nose/flavor, with vague hints of spice...fairly light-bodied, but decent finish and good balance. Strong QPR and a versatile food wine.

Duft: Litt lær, røde bær, tranebær, noe midt mellom bringebær og plommer.
Smak: Fin, fruktig vin med bra tørrhet.

Very nice, light aromatic red. Reminded me a bit of a pinot noir.

Fairly acidic with some cherry flavor, but a definite and fairly dominate tomato flavor. A bit earthy and very herbal.

Not the typical red that I like but goes well with meat ball spaghetti.

A decent table wine that, for the price, can't be beat. Inexpensive and it shows, however, in a light/watery wine not meant to age one bit.
