From memory ... lighter than many sauv blancs, particularly with respect to the grassy components. Lemon and citrus notes as I remember. Overall thought this was excellent and very refreshing when opened on a hot afternoon.

Comprised of 100% Sauvignon Blanc fermented and lees-aged in stainless steel, Hanna's 2018 is a pale yellow wine that offers a lot of bang for the buck. Bottled under screwcap, it initially has a prominent spritz and reductive note, but these blow off within a few minutes to reveal a nice package of grapefruit, melon, white peach and bay leaf on both the nose and light-bodied palate. Crisply acidic and with unnoticeable alcohol (listed as 13.2%), it stays solid on the mid-palate and finishes with medium length. Enjoy this vibrant white in its youth, and be sure to give it a bit of air after initial removal of the screwcap. Drink now-2021.

Pale straw in color. Full, forward & fragrant nose of ripe fruit aromas of lemons/limes, grapefruit & Asian pear with overtones of floral & grassy notes, stony, honeysuckle & a hint of flint & minerals. Light bodied with a good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, ripe fruit flavors of green apples, lemons/limes & white grapefruit with lemongrass, stony & minerals. Lingering finish. Drinks quite well at present. It has limited potential for further development with an additional year of aging. Very good QPR.

Lovely aromatic gooseberry-pineapple nose, candied green apple, honeydew melon, milky drumstick candy, right at the boundary between green and tropical. Palate has tons of gooseberry and passion fruit, some grapefruit and lemon peel on the finish, very fresh and juicy, medium-plus acidity throughout, not astringent but with plenty of verve - very well put together and a great QPR. 13.2%, $13. 89+
