Don’t fear aged California Pinots if made with care. This one is a Wonderful example when time is allowed to exert its influence. Showed very well, no faded color and no sign of any sediment. Nose of cedar and fig. Flavors of allspice, clove, anise, prune and maraschino cherry. A delight to sip with a game hen dinner.

This one is in a great place at the moment. Still a bit heavy on the oak but is drinking very well and is a great SCM PN example. Drink now and over the next 3-5.

Garnet color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of potpourri, dust, berries and cherries. Flavors of berries, raspberries and cherries. Bright acidity, medium to firm tannin, medium to full body. Drink now with some air or continue to hold.

Best Pinot I've had all year! Drinking very well right now. Windy Oaks deserves great praise for their consistency in delivering well balanced, delicious Pinot.

Popped and poured. Nose of cranberry, pie cherry, mushrooms, tea, and spice. Light and elegant on the palate with pie cherry, red berries, and spice. Silky mouthfeel with bright acidity. Elegant long finish. Outstanding, screaming value.

Popped and poured. Wonderful nose with cranberry, pie cherry, forest floor, and spice. Light and elegant on the palate with pie cherry, red raspberry, spice. Great mouthfeel and silky with bright acidity. Long finish to go with the elegance. This is a very special pinot. Outstanding and compared to other Cali Pinots of the same quality, a screaming value. Might be one of the best kept secrets out there. Hopefully the critics don't find this winery.

Light ruby red. Nose of Anise, rasberry, spice, and evergreen(? - Maybe the smell from the tree is influencing. Smooth, light, and crisp finish, however it is slightly tart as well.

Super fresh, a bit funky, but some silk, and currant, and raspberry on the palate.

Wonderfully vibrant pinot with explosive nose of red berry and spice. Light garnet, medium weight, long finish. A delight.
