Decanted >3 hours. Paired with roasted prime rib and creamed spinach. Definitely not a Napa Cab bomb. Very subtle but smooth. The wine got a little lost in the buttery-ness of the prime rib but was still very good.

Decanted for 1.5 hrs. Deep, dark, ink. Complex aromas of oak, spice, dark fruit, vanilla, coconut. On the palate I got black cherry, blackberry, licorice, plum sauce, and vanilla, exploding across the palate to a super long finish. Medium body, soft tannins, good acidity. Soft, smooth, velvety, somewhat feminine. Delightful!

This was really good. Maybe concentrated blackberry. As in previous notes it had the baking spice and others that were equal to the fruit. Not smoothed over by cocoa but maybe a trace of vanilla and a slightly charred oak. Yum!

Friday Night Brown Bagger (R&D's): Double blind. Deep inky crimson color. Aromas of cassis, coffee and blueberry syrup. Fine, sweet tannins supporting an abundance of black fruit. Coffee and barrel spice as well. Finishes with nice length and balance. Very fine in this style. (R&D)

An awesome Napa-Cab that explodes with blackcurrant and blackberry compote. Behind follow complex, slightly earthy notes of violet, cedar, coffee, and moist leather. The dark berries dominate the mouth and are joined by some vanilla, mint, and licorice. Very well-balanced acidity and fine-grained, wonderfully accentuated tannins. Long, juicy finish that comes with chocolate and brown sugar.

Decanted for 1 hour, nose jumped out of the bottle. Finish was a bit drier than expected but had all the passion and fruit of a Revana wine
