I can only agree with Therealpepe and Vandelaar. For its level, this is wonderful. Higher acidity than the also excellent Mosbacher basic Riesling, another reliable reference point. I think it's worth keeping a little longer to see if the acidity eases, but in any case, it's Riesling, so it will keep for ages.
Update: this still has a way to go. A recent bottle was drink over three days (stored in the fridge) and gained depth and weight over this time. An excellent entry level Riesling.

Pale lemon colour. Medium (-) and developing nose with green apples, ripe lime, white peach, petroleum, white flowers and chalk. Medium taste of green apples, ripe lime, white peach, chalk and wet stone. Long and dry finish. High acidity. Medium body. A very good Riesling Trocken. Needed 15 min in the glass to open. Drink now. Goes well with fish, sushi or shellfish.

So geht Gutsriesling.

no formal notes but remember to be quite impressed by this German. Al ldesired elements where there, acidity, lime, pomelo and a mineral burst. Finding quality is almost always the case with entry level bottles from renowned producers in Germany. Love these kind a wines.

-- cracked and poured -- -- tasted non-blind over approx. one week --
NOSE: strong petrol on Day 1; by Day 3 the petrol was gone, giving way to fairly intense tropical fruits. Some noticeable oxidation about one week in.
BODY: medium-light to medium bodied; pale green-yellow color.
TASTE: intense acidity; strong saline/umami character on Days 1 and 3, but not beyond; very fruity --- enough to make me wonder if this isn't completely dry (although it is labelled at 12.0% alc.); Incredible QPR at $20; have already purchased more of this vintage, and now I'm left wondering if this wine is always excellent. Gut impression score: 90 - 92. Drink Now and over the next 10 years.

88/89. This has aromas of stone fruits, lemon and lime, honey, mineral and veggie hints. Its taut crispy light to medium bodied unfruity a bit salty, minerally linear refreshing palate has good depth and length. 12%. Good value at around 9 Euros 50. On Offer.

Bright and pure, dry and firm. Lemon/citrus, green apple, white flowers meets a tinge of honey. For me at first open benefited from 1/2hr breathing. Been enjoying with a variety of spicy Asian food.

Pale with just the slightest green glint. Nose is heavenly. Fleeting aromas of white fruits and flowers, but mainly there is vanilla poached pear. On the palate, the body is for me Rheinhessisch - a heavier body compared to Mosel or Nahe, and a more lipsmacking acid/citrus note. There is maybe some granny smith apple thrown in as well. Would have liked some spice, salinity and yellow fruit. Overall, the palate is enjoyable but not up to the outstanding nose. Very Good.
And this is the other side of the medal, A VDP-Gutswein like I adore it, tension, saltiness, light, really refeshing, mouthwatering, spicy finish, too young! Wait or give this one a decent decant, or...... enjoy the bite! *(*-***)

Pale lemon colour. Medium (-) nose with green apples, white peach, lemon, white flowers and chalk. Medium taste of green apples, white peach, lemon and wet chalk. Long and dry finish. Medium (+) acidity. Medium body. A very good Riesling Trocken that provided great value for money. Drinks well now, but could be stored a couple of years more. Give some air for at least half an hour to open. Goes well with fish or shellfish.
