Very good accompaniment to spaghetti with marinara sauce. Classic high-quality Italian table wine, with good acidity, earthy leathery notes, and Italian character. Lots of suspended particulates that helped give this an interesting combination of a crisp, but fleshy texture.

13% abv. Really well-made Nebbiolo. Needed a little air to allow the fruit to emerge. Pure fruit, very dry and with fairly prominent tannin. Not much of an oak presence, thankfully. This really spoke of Italy to me and my wife & I really enjoyed it with leftover Easter leg of lamb, roasted potatoes, and peas & carrots.

nose on this is big and energetic. juicy cherry and strawberry with a bit of cola. medium bodied with high acidity. mouthwatering cherry fruits and a minty finish. significant fine tannic grip on the back. easy to drink and went quick.

1/05/21: decanted 30 min, quaffed over two hours. remains a tasty young nebb/vespolina, chewy sour cherry, grippy now, but a couple of years will make me grin
steak salad, escarole & roasted little spuds, buttermilk blue cheese, walnuts

Seemed slightly simpler and one-note than the first bottle, but still very good and a decent pairing with grilled porterhouse and roasted potatoes.

On pop and pour waves of fine grained tannins crowded out the ripe cherry fruit. With air, a bit of a carboard note appears. Corked.

Cherry and light herbal notes, light tannins. Not bad, but a bit generic. Medium+ body.

lots of nebbiolo for the $, with a midterm window of reward; youthfully dry after time in the decanter.
zucchini 'noodles', mild pork sausage, marinated sungold tomatoes & red onion, pecorino
