Huge restaurant Chard that is commercially overrated but okay enough. Big golden round Sonoma style--a little too unctuous in its clinging to the stereotypical style to strike any unique chords. A bit oily, more so than buttery.

Kendall Jackson (Dan Murphy's, Lane Cove): Medium minus intensity aromas of butter, stone fruit (which ripens with hand warmth to show a little pineapple), creamy lees work, touch of sweet spice and vanilla. In the mouth it's juicy with textured burr from the oak, breadth on the mid-palate, touch of alcohol warmth and tropical fruit here as well, finishes a touch bitter, feels a little soft and quite American.

Demon lemon to gold in color. light aromas for stone and tropical fruit with secondary of bread, vanilla and coconut. Medium to full body and medium acidity. Overall a short finish with the fruit being masked by secondary flavors.

Night of Chardonnay with Lianzijia (Newmarket, Auckland): fresh yellow fruits, yellow peach and apricot, creamy flavours, intense but just balanced with fruity layer. m+ body, rich and round texture, a little sweet in core. good weight and length. a little mineral notes in finish.
A good commercial Chardonnay with typical Californian style, well polished, no mistake.
Ap 5/5, Ar 13/15. Palate 17/20, Overall 3+2/10 Total 90+/100

Tasted at Three Borders Wine Group, Hampshire, UK. Summer event, hosted by me at home. Our first white of the tasting. Well received by the group and we can see why this is supposedly the best selling chardonnay in the USA. It's good and it's well priced. Medium gold colour. Buttery nose, with the correct amount of oak showing. The palate is buttery and slightly oily, quite rich, honeyed, pears. There was a drop left which I had the next day and it was even better!

This is still my wife's favorite wine. I buy it by the case for about $11/bottle. Very good with fish or chicken dinner or just by its self when you need a glass of wine to relax.

Medium yellow with a goldish hue. Intense nose of vanilla, toast, butterscotch, very ripe pineapple and mango, and candied lemon tart. Full bodied, creamy, luscious, whilst acids still vibrant, and a bit fumey alcohol, with candied lemon, mango, pineapple, apricot, heavy cream, butter, toast, cinnamon, vanilla, and a little hint of crushed rocks and soda. Medium lengthy finish

A nose of citrus and some spice, medium golden in color. A medium to full bodied white, with pineapple, citrus, vanilla and spice on finish, an easy drinker. www.winelx.com

The composite cork was tight but the wine had a strange off-flavor. The aroma from the cork was one of the worst I've experienced. Doesn't jibe with any of the 5 Community Notes; we'll have to call it Spoiled; no rating given

Good reliable weeknight Chardonnay. Generous amount of oak and vanilla flavor but not overwhelming. Pleasant tropical fruit flavors with a medium finish. Excellent QPR at the $10 sale price.

Nose: there is obvious oak, vanilla, honey, butter, and even hints of tropical notes (you will soon observe on the palate).
Once on the palate, you quickly transition to pronounced tropical fruit — over ripe pineapple, mango, and a “citrus peel” which I link to a tangerine or orange.
On the finish there is nice balance between the traditional CA oaked Chardonnay properties from the nose and the tropical + citrus fruits from the palate.
Overall, there is more complexity in this wine than the price tag would have you believe. The quality is quite impressive for a $12 mass produced wine. For me, the finish of this wine is what pulls it all together and delivers the value. This is a an “open within 48 hours after you buy” wine — there’s nothing to be gained with time in bottle

Didn't write notes on this one since it was used for cooking over a few days. But I'll give it to KJ - this hits a crowd pleasing balance for a oaked Cali Chardonnay. Oaked enough, but not over done. Tropical, bright, and smooth. Decent finish.

오픈한 날짜가 정확하지는 않지만..
오래오래 묵혀두니 매우매우 맛났다
셀러에 2년 넘게 있었던거 같다
산미가 약간 오바된거 같지만 내입에는 딱 좋았다

Balanced wine, not too sweet, and great for the price, especially for $10 if you can get it for that. All around good American Chardonnay.
