This has become such a boring wine. A shadow of what it used to be 10-20 years ago where it was considered a safe bet along with Mastroberardino's Greco di Tufo.
One dimensional and an uninspiring absence of complexity. Absolutely drinkable and not faulty, but just a boring generic white wine without typicity and personality.

Nose of tropical fruit - mango and pineapple, palate: medium- acid, medium+ body, medium intensity with flavors of mango, pineapple and quince with a medium+ finish.

Two Months in Roma; 9/6/2022-10/28/2022 (Rome, Italy): From the wine list at La Buvette, Rome. Offered as an alternative to the Pietracupa which was out of stock. Not particularly distinctive in character, lots of lean acids, fine with the food, but probably not a repeat for me.

Briefly, rather dry, austere, minerally and, for my taste, lightweight and without much interest. Nothing actually wrong with it as such, but not a repeat buy for me at the US$16 I paid.

slightly reduced note at first (match stick). lemon/lime, white pulp fruits, wet rocks, a slight salty/saline note. nice acidity. pleasant in a straight forward way. unnecessary thick & heavy bottle. 87-88.
