Last bottle - sorry to see it go. Got better and better and represented a nice value. Dark fruit on the palate, mellow with great balance and complexity.

Highly enjoyable Cab. Plenty of fruit and balanced very well for grilled steak. Not particularly complex, but an excellent straightforward drink. The son is off at school, so no more ratings from him for some time to come.

Pittsburgh-Blind Napa Cabs (La Cucina Dolce): Tasted blind-Pure napa cab flavors with a kick. Rich concentrated fruit, well structured, with tannins creating a nice grip on the finish. This wine will not dissapoint as a Napa Cab.

PAWineTalk.com Tasting Number 8 - Napa Cabs (blind): Tasted blind. Dark purple in color, thick and rich. Dark fruit and licorice on the palate with some mild spice. Finish does not disappoint but is a tad bit short. I brought this wine to the tasting and identified it during the blind tasting.

Nice stuff for $25. Leather and tobacco on nose classic cab profile but not boring. med body, good grip, decent finish, really alot of tobacco here also black fruits, currant, vanilla, cedar, mossy too. Nice mouthfeel as well for this price point.

Absolutely delicious! Nose: huge tobacco, vanilla, mocha, coffee, oak, Palate: red berries, pepper, nice body Finish: not super long, but very nice chewy tannins nice balance to this wine, I would love to try this side by side with the Cosentino Cabernet Sauvignon which for the $25 dollar price point are so far the best cabs Ive come across

Last bottle of this great daily drinker enjoyed with Kim last night, went perfect with grilled beef tenderloin, will definitely be looking for more, great QPR, very consistent tasting notes with recent previous notes but this bottle was properly aerated and hence slightly higher score. Highly recommend this in the low - mid $ 20 / bottle category - "dark, smooth, well integrated, in good drinking window. Nose of dark stone fruit, dark cherry and plum. Primary flavor profile somewhat flatter and more one dimensional then previous bottles as noted above, dark stone fruit, cassis, leather and tar all present on palate."

Enjoyed with Kim for dinner last night. This one needed more time to open up then the previous bottles, once wine aerated I thought it was still very good with generally consistent tasting notes with previous bottles but just seemed overall a little flatter and less fruit forward hence the slightly lower score. Still really recommend this wine, a great QPR, a starlwart on our daily drinker rotation. Dark, smooth, well integrated, in good drinking window. Nose of dark stone fruit, dark cherry and plum. Primary flavor profile somewhat flatter and more one dimensional then previous bottles as noted above, dark stone fruit, cassis, leather and tar all present on palate.

Really a good daily drinker in our rotation, another bottle enjoyed with Kim over last couple of evenings and finished off early tonight while working on Moroccan pork tangine and rice. Really recommend this wine, a great QPR. Dark, smooth, well integrated, in good drinking window. Nose of dark stone fruit, allspice and dark plum. Primary flavor profile mopre complex and better balanced expected with dark stone fruit, Napa cassis, leather, tar, granite and black pepper on palate.

Really a very very good Napa cab, really recommend this wine and what a great QPR. Third bottle enjoyed in recent weeks, surprisingly consistent tasting notes. This one enjoyed with after dinner pool with good wine buddy and CT buddy neighborbill and spouses Kim and Debbie over after dinner pool. More bordeauxy then previous bottles remembered to be - definite hint of barnyard funk on nose which blew off quickly. Very dark, smooth, well integrated, entering a good drinking window. Nose as noted above with some initial hint of barnyard followed by dark stone fruit, burnt oak and dark plum. Primary flavor profile mopre complex and better balanced then initially expected and consisted of dark stone fruit, Napa cassis, leather, tar, granite and black pepper on palate.

Really a surprisingly good cab, an excellent daily drinker and a great QPR wine. Enjoyed the first of 12 bottles the last two evenings. Medium bodied, smooth, well integrated, with pleasant aftertaste. Nose somewhat soft and muted with oak, dark plum and blackberry, primary flavors consisted of well balanced burnt oak, cassis, blackberry and tar.

Great QPR at this price point. Enjoyed earlier tonight with Kim at a wine dinner at Sullivan's in Charlotte NC and we did purchase a case of this, this will be a great addition to the daily drinker rotation. Medium bodied, smooth, well integrated, velvety soft and with pleasant aftertaste - not nearly as big and bold as a lot of the Napa cabs. Nose initially somewhat muted and had some oak, smoke and blackberry, primary flavors consisted of well balanced burnt oak, cassis, blackberry and tar.

Rich, fruity black currant and dark cherry flavors with some French oak. Soft tannins on a medium finish. Not too complex but very smooth and easy to drink. Very good wine for the $.

Maybe it's the power of suggestion, but the herbaceous and floral quality on the palate is shining through. Although it lacks elegance, this is a solid Cab for the price.

Good Cab but nothing special. Not the typical bold Cali Cab, opened and poured - hints of vanilla and soft spice. Very gentle to the nose with medium body.

This is a very good but not great cab. This wine does not need to open to enjoy. Has a nice velvet taste with a hint of vanilla. This is a good buy for a cab @ $15.00. This is not the typical "you get what you pay for" cab. This can be served to any cab lover with a good bit of respect.
