Pinot Noir from a vineyard called Largillier, from a clay-limestone soil, on the Côte des Bar in the municipality of Ville-sur-Arce. It comes from two plots, Fruit and Fleur, which are vinified separately and from a single vintage, 2017. Aging of about 36 months in a bottle with its lees. Dosage: 6 g/L. Floral, ripe white fruit, brioche, mineral, refreshing, subtle, creamy, wide, elegant and persistent. 10000 bottles. Nice!

2017 vintage with a 2020 disgorgement. light gold color with a shy mousse and very fine persistent bead. crisp apple, pound cake, and limestone on the nose. medium bodied with just a bit of glycerine character. integrated acidity with some citric zest. rich, ripe green apple with the usual cherry and chocolate flavors found in good black grape wines. dosage brings a nice rounded finish. this is an incredibly well textured wine. that is the real achievement here. big but not cloying or tiresome. i can understand why this is sought out.

2016 base year; no date of disgorgement so far as I could tell. And no specific dosage level noted aside from 'brut.' I bought this bottle because I heard it captures some of the vinous character of Cedric Bouchard. After just one bottle I'm not sure I totally agree, but regardless this is a BdN from the Aube that is worth your attention.
Pours a pale gold. Initially gives creamy or lactic aromas, but underlying is a significant mineral character. There is some stone fruit, but minerality is the focus here. On the palate this is full, rich, and broad -- not necessarily a wine of finesse, but not one that's out of balance either.
As the wine warmed and got further exposure to air it became increasingly mineral-driven, harnessing much of the Chablis character one might hope for from an area known for Kimmeridigian terroir.
I typically prefer a wine with lower dosage but I must say that this was well balanced and complete, if not necessarily a wine of finesse. A far cry from some of the more austere examples of the grape found elsewhere in Champagne.

Says from "just one year's harvest: 2017". So maybe they do not age it enough to be called a vintage wine. Disgorged in 10/01/20. Bottled 05/15/18. Light and lean with an apple and pear expression. It would be hard to pin this on Pinot blind. Given the vintage I'm not all that surprised. Yet, they coaxed a real nice, lean Champagne out of this fruit. Some toastiness brings interest. Impressed by the winemaking. Would like to taste more from this producer. This is likely a bit overpriced but the aspiration is on point.

This one is made from 100% Pinot Noir exclusively from the 2017 vintage coming from the 3.36ha Monopole vineyard 'Largillier'.
First time trying the A. Lallement glass from Lehmann. Color was very pale but in this case don't let the color fool you...
You could already on the nose feel the depth and power of ths BdN. Red apple, orchard fruit, slight citrus, lots of yeast and bread, nuts and some saltiness.
Palate also seemed way more deep and structured than the color gave the impression of. Red apple, citrus fruit, yellow pear, yeast, brioche, nuts and beautiful minerality from chalk and limestone. Great acidic backbone but there's this lovely creamy and rich texture to it! The dosage is just a bit heavy for me but I also am a sucker for no dosage at all... It's definitely not overdone in any way!
Amazing QPR and if this is Coessens' more entry-style then his more expensive Cuvées must be marvelous...

Followed this lot since purchase in 2017. Whopping qpr. Solid BdN. Yeast and red apples on the nose, with some pleasant salty, marine-like components, topped by a fine, delicate sweetness. On the palate it is focused, clean and precise. Dried apple, mature sweet fruit, lovely layer of minerality, amazing rounded acidity with a long and pleasant aftertaste. Convincing harmony. It really reinforces my love for this wine. It has been consistently overperforming my expectations over four years since purchase. Strong 92

Loved this. Generous in aroma and flavor, this was exactly what I wanted with our Thai dinner. Very persistent fizz and an excellent proportion of dosage. According to the back label, all grapes are from 2014. No disgorgement date available. Buy more, if you can. 5+12+17+8= 92

Bottle based on 14 vintage, but I didn't see a disg date. Very yummy, but not particularly distinctive BdN. Nose showing ripe orchard fruit, and no bready/yeasty notes.. Lovely mousse, great acid, and a very clean finish.

MASTER CHAMPAGNE; 1/28/2019-4/30/2019 (WESTIN PALACE MILANO): Degustato alla cieca. Annata 2013. 8g/l Soffuso sulfureo e fermentativo. Buonissimo

Have been a fan of this bottling for about 5 years now. This note is for the 2014. Good, fresh, clean and bright, but did not get any excitement out of it. Was 'just there' -- I guess one could say nice subtlety. Nice acidity making it good as we were snacking on various things over a couple hours. Finely made, just in this one instance, sort of like watching a movie just good enough to sit through, though borderline boring.

This is the caresse d’automne. It is a new wine and it is an exception.
Very mineral on the nose. Old wines 2006 to 2011 and bottled in 2012. It the only wine that he has blended hence it’s the exception. The exception that proves the rule of single vintage wines.
A touch meaty and very pure. No oak. All stainless. Disgorged in May of 2017.
As much as I love the others this to me is not quite as dramatic. Dominque thinks it gorgeous. Mushrooms and sauce and umami and it’s really getting him fired up so I feel like I should like it more.

This was absolutely fantastic -- truly one of the best champagnes I have had in years. Excellent fruit, with substantial amounts of minerality, and an almost pinot like body, yet light as a feather, announcing its presence with a near explosion of 'here I am' on the palate. Great acidity also.
