Burgundy trip 2023; 6/14/2023-6/18/2023: Intensity medium. Citrus, pear, mineral. Acidity medium(+). Finish medium. For some reason I could not get rid of a cardboard flavour, which hampered my rating. (tasting at Boutique William Fèvre, Chablis)

tasted at the domaine; much more saline inflected and citrus; floral and mineral notes abound; very classic; palate is very linear and less rounded than the Montmains, but seems maybe a bit more pure and long; very good

France Trip: Paris, Champagne, Burgundy; 9/3/2023-9/17/2023 (Paris, Champagne, Burgundy): Pale gold color. Drank a small glass at Domaine William Fevre. Steeper slope; steely, limestone, lime, a youthful bite of saline and dry extract that promises even more. 91+(+)pts.

Annual wine trip; Bourgogne & Champage with Bas; 6/14/2023-6/18/2023 (France): [Tasting at Domaine William Fevre, Chablis] Lovely, liked this more than the Montmains. Green apple, lemon, unripe pear, minerality. High acidity, long finish

Chablis Domain Visits-Louis Michel, Pinson, and William Fèvre (Chablis, France): Light yellow. Ripe citrus aromas. Rounder than the Montmain. Pure, moderate intensity, good acidity, and excellent stony finish. No perceptible wood. This needs more time and should also be really good.

2020 Chablis, Mostly Premier Crus (Dig Wines, San Francisco): Pleasing medium weight, acidity, stone, and citrus. Not as broad as Vaillons can be and not a bit too fat. Very good (although poor value at the current price).
