Nez très italien, de nebbiolo fin et nuancé : épices, noyau de cerise, fruits à l’alcool, confit. Jolie bouche fine, des tanins encore pointus pourtant mais en rien agressif, et une petite acidité bienvenue. Il se bonifiera sur 5 ans sans doute. Petites notes de sous-bois et de léger cuir, fruit à noyau et cerise à l’eau de vie. Un style sans doute un peu trop cadré / classique pour moi 90/91

Knowingly committed infanticide with this one but it worked well with braised pork cheeks and risotto alla milanese. Developing layers of complexity, tobacco and leather underneath sour cherry and rose petal - you can see the trajectory as this ages and it needs at least 5 years to come into balance. A bit spiky right now, needs lots of air and some rich fatty food to tame it.
