At first I thought this may have been a bit corked but ultimately I think not. Clearly time to drink, blueberry, tannins and pepper but fading just a bit.

Smoky, blueberry and underbrush in the nose with juicy berry, underbrush, leather and fine but still smoke tannins. This isn’t going to improve and I’d say it’ll start to decline in the next 2 years. Drink by 2020.

- Brick color with medium forming legs and aromas of violet. It's balanced and has flavours of black currant with a medium/full body. Smooth texture with a medium finish - Wow! I have had three of these in my cellar for quite a few years. I decided to cork one tonight and am blown away. I am enjoying the last few swigs of the bottle as I type this. I am a huge Napa cab fan and this wine holds up beautifully. Was wonderful upon opening (slightly hot), but opened up beautifully over a five hour period. Wonderful nose and was even better on the palate. I am sooo glad that I have two more left in the cellar. Will probably open the remaining bottles in a few years and see how much more they can improve with a few more years in the bottle. Absolutely wonderful wine right now!

Very we'll balanced and delicious. A little hot but ok. Not too much fruit but enough and very tasty. Nice nose and finish, beautiful palate. Tastes fine out of the bottle but maybe a little smoother with short decant. Have couple more. Think it will last a few years. Good for sipping or with food. Had with paella.

Delicious, well balanced, ripe with lovely tasty blackcurrant and cherry fruit. Maybe a little hot on the finish, but generally this wine is about ripeness and balance rather than power. Very nice blend - drinking well.

More flush and present than the claret, less nutty and noisy, more fresh and fruity. "Pretty wine" the salemen says, and he is correct. But pretty in that WA way -- has some lose acid maybe, cherry, just a touch of tobacco, and then clear with a finish like water. Short too on that finish. Needing time. Maybe it will resolve, maybe it will not.
We shall see. Not soft, fleshy, but who known where it will go.

Nose is full but fruit complexity is limited, completed with a subtle but earthy funkiness. On the palate there is pure fruit, but it is thin and surrounded by astringent tannins that are too noticeable but not overpowering. No where near the wine that some sellers were claiming.

I"m really surprised no one has posted notes on this wine. We drank our first of six. It was clearly a blend, with good color, a strong fruit nose, but not the varietal nose; rather some pepper, not too much oak and sweet fruit. It was drinking well, but still plenty of tannin, and well-balanced. Enough acid to do very well with food and yet plenty of dark fruit. Wasn't really bordeaux-like to us, yet it was more like a european blend and perhaps what should be expected for the non-CS blend.

A bit muted with oak, berry and tannin prevalent. Think it’s heading down.

Skunk and blue fruit notes in the nose. Flavors are still pretty primary. Blue fruit, tannin, oak and vanilla influences. Probably has 3 more years.

Underwhelming, sour without much fruit and obvious alcohol notes.

Absolutely outstanding - Cherry, currant, dark fruit, tobacco, everything you expect from a Bordeaux and yet so totally crisp.

Very nice, supple, still needed 2+ hours of decanting to hit its stride; clearly I need more to cellar for several years.
