Still fruity when opened - fresh strawberry, cherry. Little finish. Perfectly fine but nothing to write home about. I waffled as to open another wine for a casual Sunday lunch but decided to keep it.

This wine is in a nice place right now. Darker nose with a little bit of fruit and baking spice. Very nicely balanced on the palate with good acidity and fine, well integrated tannins. A touch of astringency (VA?) on the finish.

Consumed at the Urban Wine Company in the Old Market (Omaha). Nose: Some red fruit - cherry and olives. Medium to light intensity on the nose. Palate: Medium bodied with more olives, but joined with darker fruit, fairly acidic yet. Finish: Medium length - dominated by sour cherry and olives. Big olive play to me which I kind of enjoy but don't expect from a Washington cabernet.

(14.4%) Vibrant red fruits on the nose emerge on the palate to create a very robust mouthfeel. Cherry and cranberry notes linger throughout showing hints of coffee and cocoa before leading to a leathery, toasty finish.

taste: a real lovely and elegant medium feel along with good medium acidity and good supporting tannins give this a real nice base. Well balanced and pure tones of red fruits, spices, red cherries and a touch of red currants meld well together
overall: This is a quality cabernet. Has good tannins to support it for some slight aging along with a real pretty nose and sexy feel on the palate. The tones are round on both the nose and palate. If one was to pop this now, a decant of about an hour should do the trick

this is a huge cherry-bomb of a cab. 1 percent less alcohol and it would have been far less one dimensional in the mouth. Contrary to prior opinion this is not a wine built for long life -- not enough acid.

Good structure, moderately long finish. Leather and Walla Walla dust balanced by currant and red cherry. Approachable now but has the tannins to age for 5 - 10 years.

Sweet fruit, medium body. Your weekday Cabernet. Pretty balanced and drinkable. Do not keep anymore.

A great cab and a great value. Not a single criticism of this fine single varietal.

Smooth like others. Berries and olive
Interesting for a 100% cab

Big fruit and violets on nose, cassis and black cherry flavors, deep oak caramel with minerals . Not overly complex but beautiful expression of Cab.

Washington Wine Commision tasting (Rooftop Terrace, Millenium Park, Chicago IL): nose: nice and pure nose of red fruits, red cherries and red currants with a touch of berry tones to boot. Hi-toned with an almost perfumed quality to it

From memory. Bright red fruits with cassis and currants, dense fruity palate and reasonable finish of earth and coffee notes. Enjoyed.

Even more jammy than the Columbia Valley bottle. I mean there's good stuff there but its over-the-top for me
