Drink up if you have them. Still a lovely flavor profile but not very long, and not super complex. Bitter herbs and dark fruit. In my opinion, these are fading.

Deep Red, little nose and a wine of two parts. the initial flavour is of very round, rich fruit followed by a medium tannic finish. The balance is very good and it is a big wine as you would expect from the vintage. Unquestionably nowhere near to its best and would give it at least another 7+ years as it is one dimensional and dare one say it a bit dull at present. Will be very good indeed.

Poured from magnum. Opened to serve with a Christmas prime rib. Did not decant. Overall a very fat and rich wine. Good plum color with very light bricking. Aromatically presents crushed black fruits, kirsch, smoked meats, and iron. On the palate this has driven acidity that blends well with the notes of pepper, smoke, crushed black raspberries, blueberries, herb de Provence, and black currants. Seamless tannins that guide an extended finish of pepper and iron that really hangs on for a 60 second plus finish. Very savory. The finish just never seems to end. Four drinkers with consistent reviews. No trace of heat. The finest CdP I have had since a 2003 La Nerthe des Cadettes.
Stunning. Drink or hold.

Replacement bottle. Still a little fizz, but this one was drinkable. Reminds me of young Pegau in a lean, austere vintage, but never quite achieves what that wine does. I prefer the Brusquieres to this by a wide margin.

Cork was intact but bottle was a little oxidized. I poured it down the drain.

The wine had an effervescence at the beginning of tasting then I debated and came back a few hours later and seemed very fruit forward

Rough, young, still a bit tannic with pronounced alcohol. Will wait 2-3 years for next.

Disappointing. Tart and metalic finish. Off bottle considering how everyone is waxing poetic about this wine. Not rated.
