Nicely Meursault with signs of oxidative elements. By no means premox - more correctly oxidized. Minerally on the inside and a really nice popcorn finish.

Tasted May 5, 2006 at Lola’s in Dallas, TX. Opened and served immediately in a Spiegelau Burgundy glass. Light yellow color in the glass, clear hue throughout. Nose of cinnamon-spiced pears, wet stone and lemon oil. Flavors of pear, mineral, lemon and dried pineapple. Balanced. Ready to drink now, do not hold more than a year is my recommendation. I have absolutely no idea on pricing for this wine so no value recommendation.

Wine drinking night w/ Phil (Gentile's): Very strange. Wierd petroleum-distallate nose, maybe a whiff of sherry as well. Thick on the palate and continued with unpleasant notes combined with butterscotch and mineral and good acidity. Consensus to be a flawed bottle. Only got worse.

ah, much better, flint and minerals, subtle fruit, not too dark yet, but definitely heading towards that butterscotch area in a year or two.
