Less matchstick and more lemon and cream. Several guessed old Leflaive if that offers hints. Color more advanced than I'd prefer with more maturity as well on palate. (491/592)

Very ripe and dense notes of stone fruits, tangerine, and butter. Great acidity gives lift to a creamy, sweet, and saline palate. The minerals are buried under the abundant fruit but they are there at the finish. Great wine and drinking well now.
There is so much fruit here and the wine is so dense that the texture tastes and feels in the mouth like a soup. I am not sure how well this would pair with food or if you would want to pair it at all when you could drink it as an amazing course by itself.

Deep sexy nose of pear burn sugar and bee wax. A creamy meursault with cake honey and caramel. it is very delicious on the taste and intense infact too intense that the layers are caught together and release gradually towards the end of dinner. Suggest a 2 hour decant before drinking to unfold the layers for this unicorn! 94++

Gold color. Intense with caramel, pear and honey. The body was quite lean reflecting the vintage according to my friends. The nose was very deep and complex. The caramalized fruit literally exploded in your mouth in a powerful and creamy way. However, the finish did not have the kind of complexity and finesse to make this a perfect one.

Light golden color, fresh citrus nose with slight nuttiness. Very big and rounded palate, lush but perhaps a bit lumpy instead of finely layered. Slightly overripe with a small bit of herbal soup, good minerals finish at the end. Good but not breathtaking.

Zachys La Paulee "Warm-up" Dinner (Lafayette - New York NY): Small glass, brief note. Ripe fruit, fully mature already. Seemed to freshen up slightly after 10-15 minutes in glass, but I'd still think it time to drink up.

Wine opened in 2+ hrs and lasted 3+ hrs. Plenty of mineral and required some aging. Will need another 5-10 yrs.
