We had three bottles of this. The first was excellent as it showed vibrantly with lime, tonic water, saline, citrus, light apple and some earthy minerals. The second bottle was corked and the third seemed a little fatter, with more baked apple and less mineral. Less vibrant and not as enjoyable.

This wine is crisp, bright, refreshing and well-balanced. The scent is citrus and fresh ocean. Lemon, green apple, mineral and a hint of sea salt are the flavors.

Similar notes as with previous bottles except maybe a little more oak. Salty minerals, lemon, green apple and popcorn. This one also seemed a little more salty, which I like. Good QPR.

Well made and balanced, if lighter than I had hoped for...Didn't blow me away as much as other 2008's of the Macon have....but an effective drink with anything of the sea and air (except duck)...Won't purchase again.

The oak was much stronger in this bottle than in the first bottle in June. That bottle was much more integrated, and the oak took a backseat to the lemon notes and minerals. This most recent bottle showed some overt coarse wood. It mellowed out by the third night, whereupon the wine was easier to drink, showing a somewhat simple, lemony palate. Good, not great.

Minneapolis Wine Club - Blind Tasting (Tracy's): Pale gold color. Nose is light, with some mineral, mild oak, apple, some pear, and a touch of spice. The palate has medium light body and is consistent. Nice wine. 88+pts.

No formal notes, drank off the list. This was pretty well put together, nose was nice, I recall floral scents and minerals and some sappy fruits. Similar on the palate with balanced acidity, good chalky fruit, decent length. Nothing special but admirable for the level and obviously striving to over achieve.

Delicious. Perhaps not quite as pure as 2007, nor as sharply acid, but lovely none the less. Lemon and mineral water and yes, a little oak which helps flesh out a bit of cream, but in the most delicately supporting sense, never overbearing. I drink this wine and I think how happy I am with this level of white burg at this price rather than playing roulette with aging the expensive wines. This delivers so much for such a reasonable price. I will probably re-up with the 2008, being skeptical of 2009 with its warm year reputation.

Pretty darn tasty. Palate is rainwater pure with a squirt of lemon. On the second night, much longer on the palate, the lemon is stronger and there are also nuances of grapefruit and minerals. The oak is also peeking out, in a good way, imparting some textural interest to the palate, and the acidity provides nice energy. Should have bought more than a six pack. Easy to drink.

Nice wine. Lemon zest, almost Napa Sauv Blanc like, but then that tiny bit of oak rounds it out. I didn't buy it, so it tasted even better. Had over two days, and shared with 5 others, and everyone enjoyed.

Surprisingly intense nose for Chardonnay. Stone fruits, apples and pineapple citrus aromas burst from the glass. The palate tastes like a fruit salad of slightly unripe peaches and nectarines dashed with some lemon juice. Smoothed out with just a dash of oak. This wine is delicious. It's a reminder of how Chardonnay can be fun and so drinkable.

Ble drukket til grillet breiflabb med paprika/fiske saus, noe som matchet veldig bra. Det var flere rundt bordet som var veldig begeistret. Dette var en virkelig god burgunder til en veldig sympatisk pris (ca kr 190,-)

oddly vegetal nose, excessively acidic. Some mineral flavor, but limited at best. Mediocre at best. Not the strongest showing of a Montagny premier.

Light straw colour
Clean citrus nose. Grapfruit.
Dry crisp. High acidity. Zingy lemon finish.
Different from the previous bottle. Less waxy, higher acidity, more lemon.
