Beautiful wine. At age 11, it is still completely fresh. The color is pale like a new wine. Bright and acidic balancing quite a bit of sweetness for a Spätlese.

Wonderful. Still light in color. Nice petrol nose. Like, pear and minerals. The palate is consistent with the nose. Searing acidity bass icing the obvious sugar but there is no sense this wine is cloying. This is a beauty with another decade ahead of it.

This hasn’t changed much since my last bottle in 2011, this is somewhat sweet, perhaps a bit more relaxed but still with good cut and grip. Bright acidity, lime and stones. Is nowhere near maturity.
Secondary petrol notes at the fore. Rich mouthfeel balanced with good acidity. Fruit of lime and tropical pineapples and ripe pears starting to fade. Long finish. Great QPR.
Pale golden color. Nose of ripe pears, petrol and hints of saline minerality. Palate with decent weight, starting with candied lemon and ripe pineapple. Mid palate changes to quince notes shortly before finishing with ripe pear and some stone fruit notes on a bed of mineral laden, fresh acidity.
While one could say it's not the most complex wine, sometimes, you just want a wine that reminds you why drinking wine is fun and enjoyable. At ~$20, good QPR. Those holding on to this for another 5 years should be rewarded once secondary notes start to fill in.

Great QPR. Similar notes to last bottle. Well balanced, a very bright spat and holding its structure. Have been drinking through my '09 Kabinetts recently and blind this would fit that profile.

A.P. No. 24 079 064 10. Stelvin closure. 9% abv. Medium gold color with transparency. This had a slight petrol note on the nose which was not heavy enough to be disagreeable along with floral notes and suggestions of apple cider. I found it very inviting and not too sweet to be food-friendly. For dinner I paired it with lemon chicken, baked onion, and mushroom gravy. For lunch the next day I had a glass with squash soup. The pairing with the soup worked well (I have also liked squash soup with a Vouvray Silex.)

Really great - a Spat that drinks like a Kabinett. I find that kind of balance at the lower alc level just a great combo. Served with a ginger chicken and parsnip dish. The parsnip was a great match for the wine. Not overly sweet - a core in the apricot spectrum and very deft/light mouthfeel. Very enjoyable - can go for a while but this is good now.

Just great. Nice acid balance and fruit. Polished off as an aperitif type of wine, but does have a bit more. Nice citrus and fruity nature that is a bit off dry.

A solid, youthful spatlese. Very pale, light nose mainly of simple green apples and a little pear. Tastes moderately sweet and very youthful. An hour or two presents a bigger flavour. Blananced, long and more apples.

This is a lovely, smooth Riesling. There are marks of apple and pear combined with a sappy minerality. This is quite a full wine with restrained sweetness. Needs time in the cellar.

Springtime Riesling (Seattle, WA): Greenish gold color. Lemons and pear on the nose. Crisp, fruity palate showing fuji apple, honeyed meyer lemon and some orange peel. High acidity and some minerality on the finish. Clean mouthfeel and quite nimble. Bright and refreshing wine.

Nice, but a little too pricey for what it delivers. Fairly sweet and initially a great spritz to offset it. Nicely balanced, then got a bit flabby after awhile being open. Honey and grassy - very nice. Medium finish.

Good weight and bright freshness. Medium sweet with a big fruit forward palate of juicy red apple, pear nectar , candied lemon and mango.Seemless acidity and minerality that leap out to be seen on the finish. This is sooooo drinkable at this point. Drinks wonderfully now but if you can resist this, it will really shine. It is a bit simplistic but I say that in the best way possible. Drink from 2015. Outstanding Quality. 90 pts.

Let me start by saying I've been buying this since the '02 vintage for it's great QPR, & this is the best one so far. That being said, it needs a couple three months for the hint of SO2 to decrease slightly on both nose & palate.
Light, bright pale yellow with a few bubbles of CO2. Nose > Lime, pear, earth, lanolin, lemon-oil & crackling fresh Granny Smith apples with a touch of marzipan. Sweaty blackcurrants, licorice, wet limestone, nectarine, peach & steely cream come out with air. On the palate > Mineral key-lime, pear, starfruit. Screams fresh, pure Riesling! Steely, creamy stone, nectarine with a nice pungent, earthy licorice twang. Fairly big, concentrated & long for a Magda, but still slightly shy nose & palate (SO2). Will open more with time, obviously, & there is so much there to develop.
(92) Will deserve more when the whiff of SO2 dissipates over the next month or three.
