Rieslingfeier 2014 - BYOB Main event (Rouge Tomate, NYC): Not a fan of this at all. Overly austere, harsh and sour, with a distracting phenolic/vinyl character dominating the fruit, and a bitter alcoholic finish.

OL At panos and Edith (Strasbourg): Very complex nose of petrol, flower lemon and "fruit compote" it features a refined attack with a good backbone of acidity and a long, complex finish.
A selection of Weinbach wines with Laurence Faller (Strasbourg, France): Incredibly mineral nose again, with clear botrytis aromas in the mouth. The finesse this wine reaches is really incredible and the balance is simply superb. A real treat.
