I bought this in DC, at Weygandts. Peter Weygandt remains the best importer in the US! I don't have any financial interest with him, I am simply thrilled that his store is five minutes away.
The 2019 Burgundies are on fire right now.

Another excellent Marsannay from 2019. This review is based on leftover wine I put in the fridge for a week, and am now having it....after an hour at room temp. (Opened the bottle, poured half in a decanter, and vacuvined the rest and put in fridge).
Full bodied, silky, a mix of red and dark fruits. It's really good.

11/7/2013 9:04:00 AM - A couple of weeks ago we tasted some other mid-90s Ridge Lytton Springs and Geyserville. All except the 97 Lytton (which was superb) were pretty tired. Strangely, this was in stark contrast to a tasting we did 10 years ago of mid-80s Ridges that were outstanding. I don't think these wines are what they once were. I'm not going to let them sit more than a few years any more.

2015 Domaine Pavelot (Jean-Marc et Hugues) Savigny-lès-Beaune 1er Cru Aux Gravains

Believe it or not....this still needs two more years. I am drinking it now. Tons of fruit but still too much tannin on the finish.
Pavelot wines are for the long haul......which I might not make.
I find California universally awful. If I want hard liquor I will order a scotch. They are simply awful.....just had to say it.
