This is fantastic. There are some fine tannins that need to be resolved, but when they are this will just be great. It drinks very nice now with a decant, but wait 2 more years if you can. This is a fantastic value, in Burgundy terms.

Virtual Jadot Tasting with Frederic Barnier (Zoom): Not as thrilling as two bottles opened 2-3 years ago. While this is still approachable with primary, round rich plum and black cherry fruit the structure is starting to impose itself more. Not as nuanced or energetic as earlier. Give it time. Vineyard right next to Pommard, and one that has a long aging curve according to Frederic.

Black cherry, plum, toast, mineral and pencil lead nose. Medium bodied palate with balanced acidity and moderate tannins; ripe flavours, dry, toasty finish. 4/5

Man, this is still open an so, so good. Bursts with rich and layered black and red cherry. Full of spice and musk. So delicious and enjoyable now. Why wait?!

Louis Jadot Virtual Tasting with Frédéric Barnier (Planet Earth): Lots here with plenty of red plum and cherry and very good weight. Finishes very firm and tannic today, so I'd this better in 5 or 10 more years, but certainly with 90 point potential.
