Allowing this 8 hours to decant seemed pretty ideal, though it kept its structure overnight, too. Fabulous wine and “meant to be” pairing with A5 Ribeye with crispy onions & pomegranate pepper sauce.

Mint and cherries on the nose. Plus a little eucalyptus and faint blackberry, too. At this stage, smell is superior to taste. That’s probably more indicative of how terrific this smells, considering the taste is quite good. Went exceptionally well with smoked wagyu tri tip. Recommended decant 3+ hours.

Great wine drinking in its prime, which is also a good value.
