Predominantly herbal, leathery and earthy nose. Nice structure after almost 30 years, soft tannins, (the best part of this bottle) and medium long aftertaste. It's always a nice experience to try a 30-year-old wine that can offer at least something to taste. But this one lacks beauty and elegance. Even tiny traces of any fruity aromas would change my mind, but without them this bottle does not offer to me any special pleasure. Nevertheless, I am glad that I had the opportunity to try it, and I am even more glad that I paid for it "only" 30 euros, 20 years ago in Spain. It started showing oxidized notes after 2 hours in the decanter, so I had to finish it almost in a hurry.

Beautiful mature Pomerol from outstanding vintage. Nose offers leather, mature plum aromas, herbs and some earthy notes. Densely structured palate reveals again mature plum, clove, cigar box and some earthy notes set against nice freshness and soft and silky tannins that leave long, smooth and seducible finish. At its peak.

Cross in-between Riesling and Pinot Bianco (although I would have guessed it’s a Pinot Grigio instead) Combines quite happily Riesling freshness and Pinot structure of a slight nuttiness and aromas of white flowers. Clean nose showing a bright primary character of yellow pears and white flowers. Overall medium intensity. Refreshing and an easy-drinking wine with a very good balance of minerality, freshness and fruitiness. You must be careful not to get it overcooled as all this will disappear below 8 deg. C. Should be very good paired with spaghetti fruity di mare or even scampi or similar sea food.
