Pale purple - much lighter than normal for a Xinomavro.
Nose: fig, raisin, dried sour cherry, pomegranate and a little blackberry. I also get something citrus too, maybe grapefruit? It's got that pinot noir mushroom and earth but also raspberry and anise too.
Medium bodied, almost gritty in the mouth. Finish is dried fruit and cherry

First thing that comes through is dark fruit - blackcurrant, plum and damson jam. Red cherry and cranberry, black pepper, 5 spice with just a hint of tar and tobacco.
Dry, high acidity, medium high sharp tannins and lots of mouth warming alcohol. Finish is long and layered finishing on sour cherry and smoke.
