Dark cherries, dry leather, mushrooms and some dried herbs. Medium bodied with a medium intense acidity. Silky tannins, completely integrated. Good structure, medium complexity and a beautiful overall balance. Nice medium long and smooth finish. (IG)

Very pretty Chianti Classico Riserva. Color starting to fade to a bit of an brick red-orange hue. Quite herbal and dry as you would expect with a medium length finish. Silky texture and supple mouthfeel that draws you back for another sip. Great with food. Drinking beautifully now, no need to wait

Last of 6. This bottle seemed more advanced than previous bottles. Still quite good with cherry, earthy tannins, but definitely lighter and more resolved than the earlier bottles.
