My last bottle and it was very good. Medium-red color with slight bricking on the edges. Nose of cherries, leather, mushrooms, and mint. Very smooth on the palate with plenty of acidity, and a good finish. It went very well with the beef stroganoff that we had for dinner.

Beautiful sour cherries with a light acidity balance, for the price lots of subtle complexity with everything from earthiness to a peppery finish when enjoyed with food. I love Negroamaro anytime I can get a good QPR and this is one of the better ones. This wine is is a lighter garnet with almost a rusty colour creeping up the glass, nice easy drinking and would go well with any type of pasta dish but wouldn't hesitate with a roasted or rich chicken dish, even salmon or just as a quaffer with some sharper cheeses and bread.

Nose of tobacco, leather, cedar, and plum. After 5-10 minutes in the glass, a wonderful sour cherry fruit appeared on the nose, and delicious cherry taste on the palate. Full-bodied, mouth-coating, and nice acidity. Excellent wine to pair with food. Definitely good for a couple more years. This is the 4th time I have had this vintage and by far the best.

Great QPR on this wine. Lots of sour cherry...a little bit more sour than I'd like. This wine was great with a tortelini tomato bisque. Hints of leather and tar were very enjoyable. I think this wine could be good for a few more years.
