Boston Wine & Poker, Lincoln, Mass.: Foreground of oxidation, and a background of tangy acidity. Flavor of apple cider. The oxidation wasn't altogether unpleasant but still seemed like a bug rather a feature.

Meursault Perrieres blind tasting 1988-2011: Pop corn hers, lots of green aspargus, also a bit out of character for a Meursault. Good acidity on the palate not not very typical.

At dinner with wife and mother in law. MRBUZZ pretty much has it nailed. My only concern 2 years on is that it may be approaching its peak. It did take time to open but while moving toward a real beauty it seemed to fall short on the finish.

(Bouchard Meursault 1er Cru "Perrieres") Pretty tight and unyielding when opened. Nose of grilled nuts, iodine, yellow flowers and minerals. Very aromatic. The oak peeked out a but but eventually became more integrated. Hallmark Perrieres finesse with beautiful pure fruit and slight saline flavor. Incredibly balanced with just the right amount of richness to offset the fresh acidity. Very complex on the juicy finish. Will age beautifully. Great wine!

Sushi Dinner at Hatsu (Hatsu): This seems premox, nutty, brioche with lovely acid.
