Such a lovely floral offering, one might say I overrate this wine but I don't think so - it bested a Sauzet Chevalier 96 and Dujac Eche 09 for WOTN - just drank so well out of the gate and kept going as CLB always does. Less exuberant than other / stronger vintages but it's all there with an amazing freshness - some cinnamon, baking spice, lovely crunchy cranberry fruit, not a mighty wine but what a fine pinot to drink and enjoy today.

655/3018. Showed better than Magnum. Love the signature floral, meaty and grilly nose with a very focused and spinning palate that is beyond village level. 93+

Drank at La Paulee 2019 Liger Belair dinner held at EMP. This was my least favorite of the flight but showed a lot of quality and promise. Drank against LB NSG Les Lavieres and Clos de Chateau both 2011 and both from Magnum

Nose quite floral and modest earthiness, balanced on palate, have a lot of red fruits, minareted cranberries and raspberries, some spices, acidity is gentle and more toward back palate.

Liger Belair Dinner - La Paulee 2019 (Eleven Madison Park): From Magnum, 77/100. Leaner wine, but still with good acidity and stem. 92
