Perfect provenance. Cork 1/3 soaked. Level in to the neck. Just a hint of bricking. Aromas of cassis, mint, black fruits, tobacco. Delicious, medium bodied palate is refined and long. Tannins are all but soaked up. Very good example.

No obvious signs of bricking at the rim. Powerful Coonawarra nose, with hints of eucalyptus, mint and development. Silky smooth in the mouth. The development's coming through a bit more strongly on the palate, but there's still plenty of fruit in there. Decent length with a little bit of grip on the finish. Still very lively but I suspect it's at its peak or even starting to go into decline.

Tasted this wine at Katnook Cabernet Masterclass by Wayne Stehbens.
Lots of sediment in this wine, showing off a reddish purple colour. Nice big chocolate block on the nose and mint on the mid palate. Some herbaceous notes followed by a sensation of sweetness! Has a cigar box and tobacco taste at the finish.
An interesting and complex wine.

- Brick color. It's unbalanced with a medium body. Round texture with a medium finish.
