If have this in your cellar, count yourself lucky. It’s drinking beautifully. Balanced, still full of fruit with complexities derived from 11 years of aging. We have another bottle that we’re going to leave for another two years. Enjoy this on its own, with salumi and formaggi, or with any typical Tuscan cuisine.

At 11 years, (this is the 2012, actually) this wine is still drinking wonderfully.

Cherries, raspberries and mint. Some chocolate on day 2. Good acidity and fine tannins. A nice sangiovese.

A good, solid wine that's very typical of its terroir. The wine is, however, aged in French tonneau (although not new), and it tastes like it.
