Beautifully transparent and bursting with energy aromatically. Clean and precise on the nose with a slight herbal undertone. Less generous on the palate displaying delicate darker fruit and tart berries. Slightly grainy in texture. This was really pleasant already and starting to enter the zone but a couple more years should do this well. Hopefully some time will help soften some of the rough edges. The village and lower level 2013’s seem to be just starting to hit their window. No shame in trying one now especially if you’ve got a few.

Initial opening slams you in the face with redcurrants, cherry, cooked raspberries and hibiscus - a fruit explosion. After that it becomes more floral and gains a pink grapefruit character. The tannins are softer, but still there, and the characteristic acidity is present but more in balance and less rasping than when young. Very characteristic style. Fun.

Seems to be in a shutdown phase. The fruit is obviously there, especially in the nose, but the palate is monolithic at this point. Cellared since original release.

Very fresh , high acidity, a little tart. Cherry candy and strawberries, violet and a little mushroom coming in. Nice style and as a first from Ghislaine Barthod for me it is promising for what other vintages and the higher range could offer. It is a little simple, especially since it is not the lowest priced regional Bourgogne.

Lovely as always, fresh and lifted, slim and lingering.
