Decanted for 2 hours. Full, rich, wonderful deep fruit. Balanced tannins. Deep ruby-brown color, long legs in the glass. Served with home made pasta with basil pesto. Lovely combination. This is one of my favorite Vineyards!

Dim Sum Club at Imperial Treasure Teochew (Imperial Treasure Teochew, Tanjong Pagar): A touch rich and modern, but this was well-made. The nose had a nice lift of dark cherries, berries and violets, along with an undermining of ferrous mineral and some new oak. Very sweet and perfumed. The palate was extremely primary, even after a couple of hours in the decanter, with ripe flavours of dark cherries and berries, dried earth and mineral, along with a blast of juicy citrus acidity and some wood tannins. A touch too woody and drying at the finish, otherwise a pleasing enough wine with quite a bit of charm. Will get a lot better over the next decade or more.

Brick in colour; nose of old horse saddle, old wine barrels, camp fire, plums and raisins; pfn with addition of bandaid and cocoa; long finish with cocoa and raisin; very elegant and refined; paired beautifully with our second dish of simply prepared porcini mushrooms and our third dish of pork chop and belly

Full bodied and very dry. Needed to breathe about 30 minutes before it opened up. Plum and cherry notes.

Solid Brunello, needs to breathe after opening, priced a bit high but won't be disappointed.
