  The last pinot noir opened at the birthday party. I thought this was more charming them our friends did. Would have been improved by seared tuna.

  Deep garnet, clear edges, some browning. Nose of flat cola, herbs (rosemary bush), ripe plum and a smokey edge. On the tongue it's savoury flavours, charcuterie, with dark cherry and brown sugar. Nice finish. This is simple and has an elegance. Tannins are keeping this structured, but drink now, not to be kept any longer.
  
  Recent Seresin kept wines have been disappointing, they just don't have the depth to keep.

  Tasted after 2012 Leah. A bit more concentration, rounder, richer with good acidity and grip. A bit more depth and complexity. Very good length. 91-92+
