The good bottle age on it at this point makes it outperform its price point - long flavors of cherry and tobacco, although a bit on the sweet side for this taster.

Wow. Dark wild, pasty and intense. Dark color, deep fruit, tree bark, unsweetened licorice and a good hit of fine pasty tannin. Fruit is on the purple/black end of the spectrum. This needs richer more rustic food than we had it with. Nonetheless, a good quality bottle of wine and outside of my normal idiom, on purpose though.

The nose was dark and woodsy with a display of ripe raspberry, currants, roasted pecan, crushed stone and undergrowth. On the palate, I found silky textures matched by mineral-laden cherry with a twist of orange citrus, minerals and a hint a tannin. The finish was medium-long as the fruit gained a tart twang, with hints of savory herbs and a touch of exotic spice.
Compared to the classic and cool 2014, the 2015 presents a happy middle ground of ripeness and structure. I'm loving it!

No 15, bright ruby with a purple tint. Red fruit jam with a hint of stem. Heavy body, very firm dusty tannin. Medium acidity, dry.
